DELIVER PRESENTATION AT THE SLIDE DESK
There is a Slide desk located on the ground floor of the congress venue (Estoril Congress Centre). All presentations must be delivered here. The presentations will be directed from here to the congress room where your session takes place.
A technician will assist you to upload your presentation at the slide desk. In order to have the congress programme running on time, you must bring your presentation to the slide desk as early as possible. We suggest that you deliver your presentation in the morning if you present after lunch and in the afternoon if you present in the morning session on the next day. Presentations must be delivered at the latest 2 hours before the beginning of the session.
Each congress room will be equipped with a PC computer and a projector and screen.
Please, note that only computer projection will be provided (no slide projectors will be available). For technical and efficiency reasons, you cannot use your own laptop.
A laser pointer will be available.
PREPARING FOR YOUR SESSION & DURING YOUR PRESENTATION
Please be in your presentation room at least 15 minutes before your session starts and introduce yourself to the moderator.
To keep the congress running on time, it is vital that you keep the allocated time:
10/15 minutes for oral presentations and questions, 45 minutes for workshops.
The moderator of your session will agree with you how to remind you of your time left.
At the end of your presentation the moderator will allow you to take questions and will encourage a discussion with the audience.
Please speak slowly!
When presenting your work, please take into consideration that for practically all speakers and participants, English is their second language. So please make sure that you speak slowly for your audience!
AFTER YOUR PRESENTATION
Your PowerPoint file is your personal possession and it will be deleted from the PC at the end of the session. Participants highly appreciate a copy of the presented information. Therefore, we will ask if you agree to sign a consent to release your presentation making it available to other participants.
